At Christ Studio, we believe Pakistani Christian children are precious in God’s sight and called for His purpose. Our Vacation Bible School, or Summer Bible School, is a safe, joyful space where Sunday School kids can grow in faith, despite the unique challenges they face.
Life of Pakistani Christian Children
Christian children in Pakistan are a small minority, often less than 2% of the population. Many face social pressure, discrimination in schools, and limited access to Christian resources. Some families live with economic hardship and work in brick kilns, sanitation jobs, or daily labor. Yet these children have strong faith, resilient joy, and deep hunger for God’s Word. They gather in Sunday Schools with limited materials, often sitting on floor mats, but their worship is genuine and their prayers are powerful.
Why VBS Matters in Pakistan
Summer can be a difficult time. Extreme heat, power outages, and few recreational options leave kids vulnerable. VBS gives them a place to belong, to learn, and to be kids. It’s more than a program. It’s a spiritual refuge where they are reminded: “You are chosen, loved, and never forgotten by God.” 1 Peter 2:9
What Christ Studio VBS Provides:
Bible Teaching in Urdu & Punjabi and in there local language
Lessons are taught in the children’s heart language so they truly understand. Stories like Daniel in the lions’ den and Jesus welcoming children show them God’s protection and love in their own context.
Worship Through Gospel Music
Music breaks barriers. Kids learn worship songs in Urdu with drums, tabla, and chorus. They experience that Jesus understands their culture and their language.
Safe Space to Ask Questions
Many Pakistani Christian kids have questions about identity, fear, and faith. Trained teachers create a loving space to listen, pray, and give biblical answers. We focus on psychosocial support alongside Scripture.
Creative Crafts with Local Materials
Using simple, low-cost supplies, kids make cross bookmarks, prayer journals, and verse banners. These crafts become treasures they take home to remind the whole family of God’s promises.
Games That Build Courage & Unity
Team games teach children they are stronger together as the Body of Christ. In a culture where they often feel alone, VBS shows them they are part of a big family.
Meals & Care
Many children come from homes where food is scarce. VBS provides nutritious snacks or meals, showing James 2:16 in action: faith with deeds.
Discipleship for the Future
We train teen volunteers from the community to help lead. This builds young leaders who can serve in Sunday School and future church plants.
At Christ Studio, we see a vision of Pakistani Christian children growing strong in faith, skilled for life, and bold in witness. VBS is one seed we plant. God brings the harvest.
